Frequently Asked Questions

How often do we meet?

Most people start with weekly sessions. As your patterns become clearer and change becomes more consistent, we adjust the frequency based on what actually supports your progress.

How long does this process take?

That depends on what you’re working through. The goal isn’t to keep you in therapy—it’s to help you understand your patterns clearly enough to change them. Once that happens, the work naturally shifts or concludes.

Do you accept insurance?

I offer private-pay sessions and maintain a limited number of insurance-based appointments.

What if I’m not sure this is right for me?

That’s completely fine. The consultation is there to help you understand how this works and decide if it feels like a good fit for you.

Is this traditional therapy?

This work goes beyond managing symptoms. It focuses on understanding the patterns behind your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors—so you can actually change them, not just cope with them.

Do you work with couples?

Yes—but not in a traditional sense.

Couples work often brings underlying patterns to the surface. Rather than focusing only on communication, we look at what’s actually driving the dynamic between you.

As those patterns become clearer, the relationship itself becomes clearer—whether that leads to growth together or recognizing a shift that needs to happen.

Who do you work with?

I work primarily with adults who are looking to understand and change the patterns shaping their lives. My background includes extensive work with children and families, which informs how I understand behavior within the context of environment and relationships.

What makes this approach different?

This work is based on the understanding that behavior doesn’t exist in isolation—it develops within environments, relationships, and past experiences.

Instead of focusing only on symptoms, we look at how those patterns formed and why they continue. When that becomes clear, change becomes intentional rather than reactive.
